MORE ABOUT US
A Bridlington couple are reporting brisk business after their move to new premises. Paul and Lisa Barker purchased Hilderthorpe Cycles in 2006. After almost 12 years of trading they have moved to new premises on Hilderthorpe Road and renamed the business Chaiin Cycles.
Said owner Paul: "We felt the move was necessary as we have seen decline in footfall with the ongoing regeneration works. We decided to re-located our premises and are now situated opposite the coach park near to Tesco.”
The shop has something to suit all grades of cyclists and stocks a large range of bike accessories. Major brands such as Giant/ Liv, Shimano, MET, DMR are in stock and the shop is open six-days-a-week with later opening hours so customers can call in after work to browse the large selection that Chaiin has to offer. As well as new bikes, the shop sells used cycles and also has a good selection of children’s bikes in store.
“We are a family business and our boys help us with the shop doing errands and odd jobs.” said Paul
Added Paul: “The difference after the move has been amazing. Parking nearby is far easier and we have seen lots of familiar faces as well as many new customers who have been amazed by what we have on offer.”
